It seems DIY haircuts have become one of the most popular activities in which to partake while so many of us are staying home. And why not? Not only does it serve a useful purpose — whether that’s making you feel more “you” or giving yourself a whole new look — but it also helps you develop a new skill and kill some of the boredom that inevitably comes with so many hours in the same space. And Gisele Bündchen is the latest celebrity to try her hand at haircutting — but not on herself. Instead, she gave her daughter, Vivian Brady, a trim.Bündchen posted a couple of quick videos to her Instagram Stories in which she’s seen on a beautiful patio, surrounded by water and dressed in a satiny, pink blouse and cut-offs. We can’t see what Vivian is wearing because she’s covered by a salon cape to protect her clothing from any hair that may fall during the haircut her supermodel mom is giving her.”Alguém precisando de um corte de cabelo?” Bündchen has written over the video along with the crying-laughing emoji — that translates to, “Anyone need a haircut?” The footage shows Bündchen concentrating on an under layer of Vivian’s hair while the rest is clipped up and out of the way.Instagram/Gisele Bündchen”How much are you going to cut?” Vivian asks in Portuguese, sounding nervous.”You’re not even going to notice,” Bündchen replies in her first language.”But you’re going to cut a lot!” Vivian says, concerned about what’s going on behind her.In a second clip, we see Bündchen snip off a small amount from the ends and show Vivian how much she cut. “Oh, that’s fine,” Vivian says, holding her dog on her lap and seeming relieved that she’s not getting a huge hair makeover. “Cliente satisfeita,” Bündchen writes — satisfied customer.Instagram/Gisele BündchenAlthough we don’t get to see an after photo, we have a feeling Vivian’s hair turned out exactly as she hoped — and that she might even let her mom keep cutting her hair in the future.More celebrities doing hair:Now check out 100 years of long hair:Follow Marci on Instagram and Twitter, or subscribe to Allure’s newsletter for daily beauty stories delivered right to your inbox.
