Like so many of us, Gabrielle Union hasn’t really had too many places to be other than the comfort and safety of her own home throughout the coronavirus pandemic. But if you’ve been paying attention to her Instagram, you know that she doesn’t consider “no place to go” as an excuse for not getting “all dressed up.” The actor has been as stunning as ever, showing off incredible outfits, glowing skin, and a variety of hairstyles.Back in early April, as everyone was still getting adjusted to isolating, Union was one of several celebrities to make a pretty major hair change. After having worn box braids for quite some time, she decided to remove them and let her “natural locks appreciate the lockdown.” And although Union has gone back and forth with braids a few times in the last couple of months, she couldn’t resist sharing an update on the growth that’s been going on with her natural curls. On Wednesday, June 24, Union posted a selfie video to her Instagram Stories in which she’s admiring the progress she’s made. Writing simply, “Growth,” and adding a gif of two plants with pots reading “Let’s Grow,” she’s seen wearing a purple sports bra and black headband as she touches and gently pulls at her coils; “I Love My Hair” by Loren and Gabbs plays as the soundtrack. (And let’s not ignore how adorable her blue manicure is.)Gabrielle Union/InstagramGabrielle Union/InstagramUnion isn’t the only member of her family enjoying a little hairstyle variety these days. After husband and NBA legend Dwyane Wade debuted bright-red hair in late May, he’s been wearing it bleach-blonde. We got a peek at it on Union’s grid a few days ago, and again on her Instagram Stories when the couple shared a hilarious TikTok right after her natural-hair update.Gabrielle Union/InstagramWe don’t know when Union and Wade became a comedic duo to be reckoned with, but between the couple content and the inspiring hair updates, Gabrielle Union’s Instagram is clearly a must-follow.More on Gabrielle Union:Now watch 100 years of Black hair:Follow Marci on Instagram and Twitter, or subscribe to Allure’s newsletter for daily beauty stories delivered right to your inbox.
